Event Recap: Building your personal agent in Claude Cowork
When I check in with new AI users, I hear the same thing: every session feels like starting from scratch. You ask a question, and it gives you something technically right but bland. After a while, the tool feels tuned for someone else’s job, not yours.
This was the opening premise of our recent AI-Native Connect live session and it resonated with attendees. We planned a 30-minute instruction block, but we ran nearly 50 minutes because the Q&A continued.

What the session was about.

The session, Building your Personal Agent in Claude Cowork, centered on one idea: the quality of your AI output depends on the context you provide.
Most people solve this by improving their prompting skills. The right phrases and structures matter, but the more important variable is context — what the AI knows about you, your work, and the specific problem you're addressing.
The session introduced a solution called the Chief of Staff folder. This is a five-file system you mount in Claude Cowork that preloads context and instructions before you type.
The name is intentional. A chief of staff's job is to carry the leader's context. They know the priorities, history, constraints, and tone. They don't need to be briefed every meeting. That's what this folder does.

Get the workflow.

The Chief of Staff folder is now available to all members of AI-Native Connect. Download it, unzip it, mount it in Cowork, and run the setup. The whole thing takes less than one billable hour.
Or watch the replay to get the full run through of why this workflow matters and how to set it up.

These sessions keep coming.

This is the work we do inside AI-Native Connect: practical, specific workflows created by practitioners that you can use immediately.
To join the next session, visit the events page. We announce upcoming sessions here first, and live attendance is where the conversation happens. Based on this one, the Q&A alone is worth attending.
See you at the next event.
